Let’s face it people. I’m a crazy busy college student sitting in my apartment writing a review. I normally don’t care to review items because less busy people usually do it for me. But I took the time out of my hectic day to praise the protein gods. They delivered some killer gainz in this protein and it tastes like I’m drinking chocolate shake straight from the protein God’s chocolate cow. Not only does it have BCAAs in good ratio, it has a good amount of protein per scoop and it’s low calorie. See ya later, all other proteins.

This product is by far one of the best whey isolate protein powder that I’ve ever taken. If you’re someone who works out regularly, this product is the product for you. It mixes almost instantly without any lumps and powder residue at the bottom of your shaker bottle. I know some of you are afraid of protein powders that don’t mix well with certain beverages like milk or juice, but ISO 100 blends in such a way that leaves no clumps in whatever you choose to mix it with. In comparison to ON’s Gold Standard Whey, this product mixes way better than ON. As a person who has purchased ON for the past 2 years, I can advocate for that comparison. I’ve tried many other protein powders in the past, with my most purchased being ON’s Gold Standard Whey, that product was my favorite before trying ISO 100 but now I think I will switch my product loyalty to this product, and I think so will you.If you’re like me and you go to the gym at least 4 times a week, you might be in need of a product that contains a significant amount of BCAAs that aids recovery and BCAAs fuel your skeletal muscles during training, which can help give you the edge you need to push your limits. The 2.7grams of leucine supports the activation of protein muscle synthesis which is key to muscle growth. You also want a product that is low in calories and one that doesn’t bloat you, this product only has 120 calories per serving and it doesn’t bloat you at all. You will not be disappointed in this product at all, I’ve been taking it for a month and I’ve seen significant growth in my body in just the span of 4 weeks. But of course, the results vary from person to person and not everyone will notice growth in the first 4 weeks. However, you will be surprised at how this product makes your muscles leaner and your strength will improve gradually as well.As for flavors, personally, I’ve never strayed away from anything chocolatey tasting, but you guys might have different taste preferences. So, if you are planning to purchase this product, I would highly recommend the Gourmet Chocolate flavor as it doesn’t taste too generic and it goes down easy. I would rate the Gourmet Chocolate a solid 8/10, you might feel differently about the taste but that’s just my opinion. I don’t do any other flavors besides chocolate for protein powders. This product surpassed my expectations by a mile, I thought it would be inferior to ON’s Gold Standard Whey, but it turned out to be significantly better in my opinion.I would 10/10 recommend this product to anyone!

Purchased the Gourmet Vanilla, was not a fan of the taste in my opinion.Tired with water and another time with milk, milk tasted better but still did not have a good taste. My friend uses the same product but always got the chocolate – which he says taste more like a chocolate yoohoo – got a pit of his and it was better. Outside of the taste, the product is great and mixes well like everyone says. *personal recommendation, try purchasing an item like this from a nearby health/supplement store first. If for some reason that you don’t like the product you can return it and get something else in exchange on the spot atleast at the places that I talked to after.I will be trying to reach out to Amazon and the supplier to see if I can exchange it.

I have tried over 6 vanilla protein powders and I have truly hated them all. Everyone says chocolate powders are so much better, but I hate chocolate. A friend told me about this brand and the birthday cake flavor and I had to try it. My mind was blown. It legit tastes like the halo top birthday cake ice cream! With less than 1g of sugar and 25g of protein. I love it! I WILL be buying more! I’m addicted! 🙂

I purchased the smooth banana flavor, and it was incorrectly advertised. The product featured nutrition facts of 28 grams per scoop with 106 calories, 0 mg cholesterol, and 50 mg sodium. The actual facts are 30 grams per scoop with 110 calories, 10 mg cholesterol, and 100 mg sodium. It might not seem like a huge difference, but these are qualities I looked at when selecting this brand and flavor. I do not see myself buying from this seller again with them incorrectly advertising / displaying the products.I have included the displayed nutrition facts and the actual nutrition facts of the product I received.

I went to pharmacy school, worked in pharmacy for 15 years, got tired of counting by 5 and then moved into biotech and oncology for another 20 years. For me, most supplements are marketing fantasy + zero verifiable science + no FDA approval + “case reports” which = BS.There are recent data from 2015 for protein supplementation being worthwhile in both aerobic and anaerobic power in weightlifting in Sports Med. 2015 Jan;45(1):111-31. doi: 10.1007/s40279-014-0242-2 to name just one credible source. Bottom line is that protein supplementation while actively weight training likely helps build strength and when combined with proper diet and exercise can increase strength and decrease body fat. That being said, I had tried about 6 other whey protein supplements and they all caused various levels of GI distress including gas, bloating, diarrhea and general abdominal discomfort. I did a lot of research on protein and talked to several of the competitive bodybuilders at my gym, one of whom has a PhD in biochemistry and is an active cancer researcher at a nationally known cancer center and the other a nationally known bodybuilder. Remarkably, both told me that most of the GI upset in whey protein arises (pun intended) from the high levels of lactose in those products and they each recommended Dymatize iso 100 because it was lactose free and both had used it personally with no adverse GI events. I know, I’m falling into “case report” territory.Based on this combination of scientific and empiric data, I tried the Dymatize Iso-100 whey protein and in my case (N=1), it had no adverse GI events after three x 3 pound containers consumed.Despite my natural skepticism concerning supplements in general, I believe I have finally found a whey protein that has minimal to no adverse events and has assisted me in in losing body fat and gaining muscle. That latter observation is based on the highly scientific method I utilized that relies on unprompted and unsolicited positive comments about my 60 year old physique from about 10 active weight lifters at the gym.Bottom line is that I think this product works, it has minimal adverse events, it tastes OK (vanilla and chocolate are decent), it mixes easily in a shaker bottle and it provides me with my low calorie goal of 35gm of protein a day.My 4 star rating is based solely on the pricing structure for the product on Amazon. NO idea why one flavor costs more than another. Vitamin Shoppe has all the flavors for the same price – typically $49.00 for a 3 pound bottle with the occasional 10% off deal and free shipping. I price match between Amazon and Vitamin Shoppe for the best deal. Hope this mishmash of pseudo science + BS helps but it’s likely better guidance than you will find in the supplement literature where it’s all BS.
